Demitclothing on dreams of retiring parents, new summer drops, and celebrity modeling.

Last month we got in touch with Warrington fashion brand Demitclothing as we talk about their wants of retiring their parents, talks on their new summer tee and shorts combination, and all things celebrity modeling requests. Hey guys, please can you give an introduction to who you guys are?

Our brand was created in 2022, by me and my brother and we are based in Warrington, England. Our mission is to create a brand and loyal community with ideas similar to our own. Which is why we chose the name ‘demit’, meaning to retire, because we aim to retire our parents and believe people who wear our brand are ambitious and always strive for more.

That's amazing! Why did you decide to make a fashion brand?

We both wanted to retire our parents and thought the best way to do it was to create a clothing brand as the idea of wearing clothes that have a meaning behind them and also look as good as designer brands appealed to us the most.

Which brands have you been following?

Obviously big brands like Nike and Corteiz but also less known brands like Crown Clothing and Tweny8 brand inspired us to start our own brand.

For sure man, some of their stuff is fire, how did you come up with the designs?

We just messed around with stuff and then decided to use arrows in our designs because the idea behind them is that arrows link one idea to another and represents the hard work you have to put in to reach your goal.

I hear that. If you could have any celebrity model your brand, who would you pick?

You know what, maybe Clint because then we could do a collab with Corteiz.

That would be sick! Talk to me about the manufacturing stage, does it take a long time?

So we order blank hoodies or t-shirts and use a heat press to press the dtf transfers on, usually takes 2 weeks but we have stock ready before drops instead of doing the pre-order method.

When can we see a new Demit drop?

Summer time we are dropping a t-shirt and shorts set, maybe a few other items as well.

Can't wait. Finally, have you got any advice to anyone who's looking to create a brand?

Find something that separates you from the others, and don’t let people who’ve never owned a brand get to you because they don’t want you to do well.
