Hey Flipzz, please could you give a short introduction on yourself for those who are yet to have seen your work before?

I'm a rapper and content creator from Southampton that somehow ended up living in Ireland Co. Cavan.

And, how did you get into music?

I started off with drill when I used to be on that type of lifestyle then I realised I ain't going nowhere, so I moved here and expanded my sound widely and I'm now just tryna work on my sound.

For sure! Who were you listening to growing up?

S1 MHG goes harddddddd, such a shame he fell off a cliff. I also listened to E1, and ZT.

It must be hard for drill artists to make it properly without falling off. Who are you listening to right now?

Aye S1 was doing bits back then icl, but now I listen to Lancey, and Yeat.

Would you say you listen to more American stuff compared to UK music? If so, why do you reckon that is?

Yuh, UK music is boring icl, other than the underground scene over there, whereas people like Jay-Z make a variety of different genres instead of sticking to one thing, that's also one reason I widened the type of music I make, but I'm gunna be the one that makes a change in the music scene for us.

I hear it man! You said you've ended up in Ireland, how did that happen?

Feds. FUK 12.

Enough said. What's the music scene like over there?

There isn't much of an underground presence over here.

Would you say that you're paving the way for all them guys?

More than correct, and I'm tryna show them that there's more to music that just money and fame. It's literally all about the feeling, and you don't need no money or fame to make music. I'm literally releasing an album I made from an iPhone 6s! Bandlab on top icl.

That's so sick, how did that idea come about?

Just me and my brain working together g, but I been doing this for a while now.

When's it dropping?

21st November.

What can we expect to hear on it?

Hard musik, real musik, beautiful musik. I treat my music as a dairy or journal so every song relates to my life.

Would you say that helps with the mental side of things?

It's probably the only reason I'm mentally stable, so yeah.

Would you highly recommend others reated music the same way?

Not really, it depends what type of music you make though, some of my songs are songs to turn up to and others actually have meaning. I sat it depends what route you're going for.

I hear it! Do you have favourites of your own songs, or any that you look backk on now that you made at the beginning you're now not keen on?

Nah, I love all my songs but some could have improvements, my favourite song right now is 'Scared'. Ain't out yet but it's on da album.

How come there's no features on there man, what made you decide not to?

They not on our level.

Real. How did you get your name?

"FlipzZ" - flip thay pack of weed and double my money back I gave it to myself and people might think that's so dead but I'll be so real, I don't give a fuck.

Have you ever or would you ever go on tour?

When I get to that level Imma tour around the world.

Any dream locations to perform?

Wireless, and Rolling Loud. Never been to any and I won't till I'm on that stage.

A whole lot of respect for that! What was it like growing up in Southampton?

Shit was tufff, jakes everywhere. I miss all my friends I left back there I won't lie.

How long have you been in Ireland?

Last summer made it three years.

Would you say it's changed your life, moving to Ireland?

Yeah, drastically. For the better.

A whole lot of respect for you right now man! Do you have any advice for anyone looking to start making music?

We all start somewhere, your music won't be the best at first, but as long as you keep doing it and keep practicing and learning improvement will come through for sure. And, it doesn't matter what type of music you make, make music for yourself, and most of all, don't compare yourself to others. Stay in your own lane famlee.

That's gonna help someone out there for real. Before we end off, do you have anything you would like to add?

Ireland music is overlooked and people need to invest into Irish rappers and singers like Bollard Joe Butler, and I cause we're really boutta take over.

Sure man. Finally, do you have anyone that you would like to shout out?

I wanna say shout out to my twin NNE, we're locked in. and prod Jay6ix for sending me hard beats. Shout out to ELVEEE how could I forget my cuz.

Absolutely man! We appreciate your time, keep killin' it man!
