Get to know Essex businessman, Sonny Green

Sonny Green came onto the scene ten years ago, doing freestyles and solo tracks, uploading them to YouTube on whatever channel he could get himself on. However, he started taking music seriously in 2016 as he released "Grime Is Punk", an EP with some of his best songs at the time, like track two "Bars". Throughout the music video for the track, you're able to see Sonny walk through his home estate in Essex, showing his love for the community around him as it's just shown in some very casual shots, waving to his neighbours. Throughout his music career, you were able to see that Green just wanted to be heard and appreciated while still rapping about his background and where he came from. Persisting to release mixtapes and EPs such as "All On Top", a twenty-two track mixtape, being released in 2017 and showed us star tracks such as "The Chav's an Anarchist" and, "Different".

However, as of 2018, Sonny Green became a part of Trouble Tongues, performing arts, monthly spoken word night, and celebrating freedom of expression. Recently becoming a coffee lounge in Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Being a place where people can be free and meet other people with similar interests and views. Holding some amazing events through the years in several different places from Essex to London.

Following Trouble Tongues, Sonny went off from music again to venture into a different career, becoming a businessman in his own removals company. Southend House Removals and Man With Van Service started in 2020-2021, helping people with small moves across the country moves, it seemed no job was too big for Sonny and his team. Sonny now also owns a warehouse full of antiques found from his house removals and car boot sales.
