GK Barry is known as Grace Keeling around her family and friends, however, we know her as a TikTok superstar as she rose to fame during lockdown as she had decided to post on the video app and the rest was history.

Before her fame, Grace had graduated with a film studies degree at Nottingham Trent University as she went on to complete her master's in digital marketing. She had told Heat World that her username on TikTok was made off of something that nobody will ever know, however as her fame grew she revealed that she had used her best friends last name, with the GK being her own initials.

By August 2020, just five months after her first video, she had hit one hundred-thousand followers and went on to reach a million followers in just over a year. When speaking with Heat World, she had said "During lockdown, I was honestly bored out of my brains so I started making the most pointless videos", of which at the time were mainly storytelling videos based around relationships that she's previously had. She then also said that some of the the things she makes videos on are just straight off the cuff, letting us know that if something embarrassing happens to her, she'd get her phone out there and then to tell us what just happened. Unless she needed a viral hit she said that she'd go over to Instagram or Twitter to see what's trending. She then signed off that section with a huge tip for anyone trying to get a viral video as she said "I'd also say not to put too much pressure on it. If you're trying too hard, people can tell".

The Saving Grace Podcast was then launched under the Fellas Studios after she had appeared on The Fellas Podcast and the fans loved her in the comments, for example, "she's hilarious, I need her on again", and "Yess, love this crossover! I hope we get more like this". Her podcast then launched in April 2022, starting with her good friend and TikTok star Max Balegde. Her most popular guest to date is currently with Love Island star Chloe Burrows with just over a million views.

Locked In is a YouTube version of Big Brother via the Footasylum channel as a range of influencers and rising stars at the time. During the 2022 season, Grace had played a massive character across the two weeks of filming. She had told Metro that apart from starting her own podcast, that Locked In was the most random thing she's done as it was very much outside her comfort zone. She had then said she signed up to do something like that due to her originally wanting to be on Big Brother. She was then asked if her Big Brother dreams were now ruined as she replied "I mean if the money's enough, I'll do whatever".

During the early months of 2023, The Saving Grace Podcast went on tour, putting on shows in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and London. Showing up with various different guests, for example, fellow TikTok friends Charley Marlowe, Maddie Grace Jepson, Pete Wicks, Chloe Burrows and Millie Grace Court. This was incredible to see as the podcast was just a year old when the tour was taking place.

We love Grace and everything she's doing. What would you like to see Grace do for the rest of the year? Let us know in the comments.
