SCOOP RECOGNITION NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR

Mr YIC himself, how could you not like this guy. Shakes bounced on to the scene heavily at the start of this year, being one of the youngest to be in the public eye. Lets take a look back at his year to date.

Jump starting his year featuring front line on BL@CKBOX, and for the record, he absolutely shelled it. In our opinion, this really paved the direction he needed to go in. He then featured on a track, made his own, had live radio shows, and best solo track this year 'Better Than I?'.

For the role out for this track was really something special, we saw Shakes film five different videos at five very important music video locations throughout time, for example, Shakes appeared in the same location as Dave, in Dave's track 'Hangman', or where Stormzy filmed 'Shut Up'.

Shakes also featured on a handful of adverts this year, a perfect example of this is featuring on the new FC24 soundtrack, which for such a smaller artist around everyone else, is huge.

We love everything Shakes touches and cannot wait to see what he

brings to the table next year.
