Rhys Herbert rose to fame while in a drill collective '1011', and is now the owner of a record label 'Black Money Records' with three albums being released since 2019. Here at SCOOP, we’ve looked at his discography, picking out some of our favourites from Aitch and putting them in order. Be sure to tell us your favourite tracks in the comments below and what you would like to see from Digga D.
5. Shotty Shane
An old gem from Digga as this is from his first album 'Double Tap Diaries', it's a great example of a raw Digga before he blew up in the scene. The sound is something he wouldn't make today, it's the opposite of what he needs to break America and go mainstream, so it makes it a true gem. The track itself tells us all about his alter ego 'Shotty Shane' as he talks about his drillings that have taken place in his life, letting everyone know that he's better than everyone else in all types of scene as he raps "You and I are not the same".
4. No Chorus ft. M1llionz
On a normal day we're not too tapped in with M1llionz and his side of rap but when we listen to this track, you have to take him in. Of course Digga is talking about drillings and drugs in the best way he does, but M1llionz goes in and out of Digga's bars, with Digga filling the adlibs behind him. What we love about this track is that it's called 'No Chorus' however, it actually does, towards the end of the track they then say they also don't need a verse. It's like they're saying that they know what they're doing, they're too good to be sat down writing and can easily do a straight freestyle and call it a track. We love the confidence.
3. Bringing it Back ft. AJ Tracey
A huge lockdown COVID-19 track that simply cannot be forgotten. The way AJ spins this track with his standard wordplay and elite flows, followed by Diggas flow scheme every time he spits, it's so clear of being Digga's best feature so far in his career. There's a part of the track where Digga mentions all of his alter egos and lists a bunch of drugs, saying that he can get anything he wants for anyone, letting everyone know that he does everything possible, being the best at all of those things at the same time. A very elite song that was seen as a one-and-done for a lot of people as it doesn't get many people talking about it anymore, the video for this track is also very smooth, we cannot complain.
2. Toxic
Normally we would dislike a track like this, but how can you when the beat is this cold and Digga is able to ride on the instrumental as he does? it's impossible to hate it. It's a super catchy, easy track to remember and is always remembered when talking about his tracks, he even mentions it a lot himself, as he has teased a 'Toxic 2'. The track broke the internet when it was first released back in 2021, on Valentines Day, and we can only wish for a second edition of this track.
1. 2K17
This track is so different from what we've heard from Digga before, normally we hear his drill voice while he talks about all of the things he shouldn't be saying, but this track shows the experimental stage of his music as this was released right before he went over to America. We love this experimental track as he just skips over it in a singing-ish more high-pitched track, with a very skippy beat in the background as he goes in and out of his normal voice, showing that he can do both. This track for us is easily one of his best and would love to see what he could do to top this for us.
