'Secure The Bag' was released in October 2017, peaking at number thirteen in the UK charts, holding it's own for three weeks. At the time, this would have been crazy for an independent artist, let alone being their first tape release. We've taken a look at the legendary album to put them in order of our least favourite to our top five favourites from this incredible album. Let us know in the comments below which you would put first.

8. Tour Team ft. 67

We're not overly impressed by this track, although we do have to consider that it was AJ's first proper tape under his belt. However, we cannot look past what we could have had when we saw this line up of rappers. The beat could have been so much heavier, and we could have seen a lot more dirty, drill rap that we like when we think of 67. This track has to be placed last on this track list but it is purely just what it is.

7. You Don't Know Me ft. Craig David

This track should be a lot higher but Craig David just isn't pulling it together like he needed to be, through AJ's music career, there are so many other tracks that he should have been on, this just wasn't one of them and in our eyes isn't the same. When you first look at the track, the fact that Craig David is on it, is huge, especially at these times in his career, but after listening more than once, it just isn't for us.

6. Shisha

This track is such an easy listen and great example of a chilled out AJ. The bars in this track are quite simple but the way he makes them sound is very interesting, if you're not taking in the bars being said then the track is incredible but when you step away and take a look at what he's actually saying, it's not an amazing track. This could be purely because we love it when Tracey is actually saying something, but for now this track just doesn't do anything for us.

5. Luvd U

The chorus to this track is very repetitive, which is such a shame because the verses are quite strong. The bars he uses aren't anything to really write home about but when you're listening it gives you that buzz, that motivational feeling, you're untouchable, and that's what we love about this track. However, we cannot place it any higher than fifth place, as the tracks your about to see are elite compared to the previous in this list. The is very much a strong divide between best and not so good in this project.

4. Blacked Out

We have to respect this track in terms of being a part of his discography, purely because of what he's saying in the verses, talking about how people have changed on him since he's blown up. Also talking on peoples stereotypes towards him, for example, "My Spanish miss said I'm gonna fail 'cause I'm brown, bet you thought I was gonna say black", proving he's more than those people thought he was worth. As he's talking about how he's in charge of the rap scene and everything else he touches we have to respect it, for that reason, this track belongs in our top five at number four

3. Bird Call

A very good example of the star telling people to stop copying him, basically stating that it's getting boring, which is very very true. Some perfect examples of this are "I've got sons, I've got clones", "All these paigons tryna creep, failed every single week", and "Rappers lying on their smoke". He also tells us a bit more about his personal relationships with women, saying that he cannot just get with anyone, they cannot have been sleeping around and they most definitely cannot have been with any other rapper. We love this track and easily takes third place on this project.

2. Quarterback

This track was the second single before release and we can absolutely see why. The beat, the bars, the feeling this track gives you is incredible. Do you know the feeling and rush you get when you hear the beat drop and you get hit with "and I still miss the drop if I want"? It will never get boring in our opinion. The bar "They thought I would flop and they're wrong" is very fitting for this track, as we can now see where he is and what he has been able to achieve in the time between this project and his latest work as of 2023. This track deserves to be second place in this project and there's no debating it.

1. Alakazam ft. JME & Denzel Curry

If you've seen our top five AJ Tracey tracks, you will know exactly how we feel about this track. An AJ Tracey featured track will never beat this track in our opinion and that's just how we feel. It would take a lot for AJ to do a feature and top this. The track itself is just full of word play from all three artists, for example, "Pantomime, man act, get clapped", and "I got hooks but I don't go fishing". The second you hear the "serioussss" at the end of the first chorus before AJ has even finished, you know it's about to go crazy. Straight number one.
