Hey Max, please could you re-introduce yourself for anyone who missed our last chat?

Your boy BTB Max, content creator, presentor, host, and massive UK rap fan.

What did the beginning of the year look like for you, what position were you in?

I was working full time and tryna balance that whilst getting myself out there to the music industry and the public.

Compared to now, where would you say you were as we finish the year?

I've defo established myself in the music scene a lot more from being just a TikToker, it's now trying to combine the lot to grow all my social platforms and working directly with artists and labels.

At the beginning of this year, what were some goals that you set yourself?

My goals were to earn some money from this! Grow my following on other platforms and work with other pages, creators, and brands.

Would you say those were achieved?

To an extent. It's always difficult giving yourself monetary or number goals because they're not entirely in your control. I'm dissappointed with my TikTok growth this year but really happy to have worked with brands like Buzzfeed, LinkupTV, Word on the Curb, as well as growing my Youtube platform, Insta, and podcast page!

Absolutely! Do you find that throughout the year you pick up smaller goals, for example, working with the brands you have?

Yeah kind of, lots of things attract my attention that I then want to go after, whether that's artist interviews, working on a certain project or festival that I didn't know about. It's kind of natural to me and I let it happen because it's a new thing to keep my hungry.

100%, do you think it's important to set yourself goals?

Yeah, it's always good to dream big and aim for more, but it shoulnd't ever be something that gets you down if you don't achieve them.

For sure! Have you got yourself anything set up for next year?

I think my focus on next year is to produce some major content pieces to really put my name out there, it's all good making regular TikToks, but I want to be known for some big content pieces, which I am in the process of planning and building a team to help me produce.

Any brands on the cards for you?

I'd love to work with JD, Nike, Footasylum, in terms of fashion and content, then personal ones would be West Ham, and NFL because I'm a big fan, and then having a show on the radion station is my biggest goal at the moment.

For sure, you've worked with some amazing brands this year. Now let's talk music, who's your artist of the year, and why?

Oooooooof, this is tough! So many artists have shone for different reasons, Nines dropped two albums, Potter dropped a debut album, some features and has his own label. I think I still have to give it to Cench for how he's expanding over seas while giving the UK the biggest song of the year, building a clothing like and still hasn't dropped an album! Genius.

And has there been anyone this year you wish you had seen more of musically?

I would have loved Unknown T's album this year but it's coming soon, I would have also liked a little something from Knucks too but I'm happy these guys aren't rushing anything. AJ Tracey is the main one I'd have loved something from.

They've all been promising new music for what feels like forever. Finally Max, is there anything you'd like to say to your followers or anyone reading that tunes in to your work?
